Zorana Latković acquired her primary and secondary musical education at the Art School for Music and Ballet "Vasa Pavić" in Podgorica, in the class of Prof. Larisa Dašić-Simović, and her studies in solo singing at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of Prof. Irina Arsikin. In her final year of studies, she debuted in the premiere performance of the opera "Dido and Aeneas" (H. Purcell) at the Royal Theatre "Zetski dom" in Cetinje.
She has held several solo concerts in Podgorica, Cetinje, Kotor, Skopje, and Split. Independently or as a soloist of choirs from Podgorica and Belgrade, she has performed in the country and abroad.
Career and collaborations
From 2005 to 2011, she worked in Musical Youth of Belgrade, later in Musical Youth of Serbia, after which she returned to Podgorica where she began her pedagogical work at the "Vasa Pavić" school as a teacher of solo singing and chamber music. She has collaborated with prominent artists, including: Darinka Matić-Marović, Egon Mihajlović, Nina Perović, Alexey Shatskiy (Russia), Elizabeth Attl (Austria), Daniel Gliner (Belgium), Eli Yamin (USA), Niels Badenkop (Germany), and others.
Ensembles and projects
She is the founder and artistic director of the Montenegrin vocal ensemble "Luča", with which she made her debut performance at the KotorArt festival in 2015. She is a member of the women's klapa "Alata" from Podgorica, with which she performs in the country and abroad. In October 2025, she founded a chamber trio (voice, accordion, guitar) with which she performs throughout the country.
She is the author of a project that brings together students from six vocational high schools from Podgorica and Cetinje, on the preparation and realization of the opera for children "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (composer Petar J. Krstić), which, after its premiere in Podgorica in March 2024, was performed throughout and outside Montenegro (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia).
Awards and pedagogical work
She was engaged as a jury member of the International Klapa Festival in Perast (2019, 2020), and besides that, she participated in the work of the jury of international solo singing competitions in Albania, Macedonia, and Croatia, as well as the national competition of young musicians of Montenegro, in the disciplines of solo singing and chamber ensembles.
Her students achieve notable results at competitions and are recipients of scholarships for talented students awarded by the Ministry of Education of Montenegro. For three consecutive years, she was the recipient of the Award for Teachers from the Fund for Quality and Talents during its duration (2018-2020). She is a licensed external associate of the Center for Vocational Education and participated in the reform of vocational secondary education in 2019 as one of two authors for the modules Solo Singer and Chamber Music/Solo Singer.
